    • Utvandra til Amerika i 1869. Hadde farm i Romundstaddalen nord for Strum
      Ole J. had blacksmith experience and at first worked railway construction in Wisconsin with his brothers and cousin. This group of 4 Romundstad men then arrived at the Norseville homestead -- brand-new that year -- of their cousin Fredrik Olsen Romundstad from the Romundstad Oppistua farmhouse back in Rindal, Norway.

    Den andre Romundstad-broren som kom over i 1869 var Ole Jonsen Romundstad. Han ble født i 1839 mens foreldrene bodde i Austistua Romundstad.



    Ole J. og kona Gjertrud Olsd. Romundstad f. 1847 fra Oppistua, hadde 10 barn som alle levde til voksen alder. De fleste av barna deres forlot området. Noen dro til Montana og noen til Minnesota.



    Ole J. & Gjertruds sønn, Mikkel (#90831), overtok til slutt Norseville-området, Romundstaddalen. Mikkel og kona Marie hadde fire 4 barn: Olive, Muriel, Astrid og Gjermund
