Kjønn Mann Historie - After high school, he joined the Army, serving in the Pacific Islands during World War II. His was one of the first units to enter Japan during the occupation. Upon discharge, he moved to a rural area near McMinnville, where he resided ever since.
Mr. Scott was involved in the formation of McMinnville's Plan Loving Adoptions Now, known as PLAN; the West Valley Academy, a school for at-risk youth; and Mid-Valley Rehabilitation, which trains, places and employs workers with disabilities.
His efforts grew out of a desire to assist children, particularly those with disabilities. He cared for and sometimes adopted many children himself.
