Elmer Bolma, 85, oil driller, died Saturday in Lewistown. Born in Duluth, Minn., Bolma came to Montana as a child with his parents and was raised on their homestead in the Haystack Butte area. As a young man he worked on the Bourne, Hamilton, and Strode ranches, and trapped in the Bob Marshall Wilderness. He worked most of his life in the oil fields in the Whitlash area as a cable tool driller.
